Murad Energizing Pomegranate Lip Protector SPF15

Nothing special about the tube it's just a very simple one. I kind of like the applicator, even though it looks like your regular one, it just makes it really easy to apply on your lips.

I absolutely love what it does to my lips. It somehow revives your boring lips by adding a bit of gloss to them and a tinge of color. You may think that because of the glossy finish it will get stuck to your hair and all that jazz but it really doesn't ! I really like this and will be using it on a regular basis albeit it is a little pricey (£27) ... But if you're looking for a good moisturizing gloss with SPF i think choosing this would be a great choice!

There you have it a short and sweet review for y'all.

MAC Haul

I can't believe the title of my post includes the word "MAC" and "haul". I finally caved in and bought a few MAC products and i just bought very little compared to all the beauty addicts out there.

She's a hot baby don't you think ? She is MAC's Semi Precious Pressed Amber Mineralize blush and i love her. She gives you an amazing natural glow and that's why i chose her :) You might want to go look for her in stores right now before it runs out of stock as it is a limited edition !

If you are starting your make-up collection like me don't forget to purchase all the tools you will be needing ! I needed a blush brush and i chose MAC's 129SH because it came in a shorter version which i think is really practical when you travel and even just to bring it around with you as it comes in a little pouch!

The reason i even went to the MAC counter is because i was on the lookout for a nude lipstick and i had heard a lot about Hue in the blogosphere with people saying it is the must-have nude lipstick. Somehow, it didn't suit me at all and so i asked a MUA for a light pink/nude lipstick and he showed me this one. It really is an amazing lipstick and although it may look a little dark on the bullet it is , in my opinion, the perfect pinky nude lipstick ever.

I hope you all enjoyed my first ever purchases from MAC because i sure did enjoy buying them !

Also , who is coming to Zoe's aka London Lip Gloss's meet-up in london this week-end ?

7 Beauty Tips!

I thought i would do a post for y'all on a few beauty tips i have learned over the past few years.

1. Never ever touch your face during the day. I know this is a really random one but people who pick on their pimples or even just touch their face to feel how soft it is are just adding germs to their face which will eventually become breakouts. We don't want that do we ?

2. Suffering from puffy eye bags ? Make chamomile tea ice cubes and pat them on your puffy eyes in the morning to get rid of them.

3. Your lipstick doesn't stay long enough ? Easy. Apply one layer of lipstick on your lips and then blot it with some tissue paper before applying another coat of lipstick and you are good to go !

4. You have acne and you want to get rid of it ? My dermatologist advised me to drink soy bean milk ! Apparently it really works ! Oh and it makes your boobs go a little bigger too. ( Get the unsweetened soy milk. It will probably be tasteless but just drink it like you're drinking water with a weird flavor!)

5. You just got out of the shower and your hair is really wet and knotty. You grab your brush... Wrong! Your hair is really fragile when it's wet. The best way to keep it undamaged is by using a wide-tooth comb.

6. If you tend to have really oily skin the number one rule is DON'T BLOT. As crazy as it sounds blotting is not good when you have oily skin because it actually makes it worse. Blotting your oily skin is just going to send a message to your glands that there isn't enough oils on your skin so you're basically going to get double oil on your skin at the end of the day. Not good. If you really feel like your skin is too oily then go grab a loose powder !

7. You may think that you have oily skin but that doesn't mean that you shouldn't moisturize! Everyone needs to moisturize their skin.

There you go ! I hope you enjoyed this post. Stay tuned for a MAC haul tomorrow :)

Make Up Academy Professional Eye Shadow Palette Review

Okay so you may be wondering where i have been this whole time ? I was travelling. From Bali to Singapore, i was changing places too often for me to actually settle down and blog. I really missed this stuff :( But i'm back now ! So here is my review i am writing at 7.30am because i'm jet lagged ! Here we go.

( all of the pictures in this post were taken like the day i got these palettes which explains why they are somewhat clean. LOL)

I own three of their eye shadow palettes : Starry Night, Dusk till Dawn and Heaven and Earth ( my favorite ).  Before i get into the description and thoughts on each of the palettes i thought i would talk about the overall product. I'm sure you have read numerous reviews about this product , and if you have not i'm glad i'm your first one, and everyone talks about how pigmented these eye shadows are and to be honest i believed them but not at a 100% so i figured i had to try it out myself. You guys , i was blown away. This palette containing 12 different eye shadow colors cost £4 and they are really well pigmented. I don't think you can ask for more ! and being a beginner i didn't want to splurge on MAC eye shadows just yet. I think these eye shadows are great for people who are starting off their make-up collection and sort of want to have the basic colors to be able to play around. I mean seriously i don't think i'm going to be purchasing any other eye shadows because these ones are so easy to blend in and make super nice looks that i'm thinking why pay so much more when for £4 you get 12 great eye shadows ? Just saying.... Oh and they stay on for around 6 hours without primer.

Close-up on Starry Night ( i'm such an ass i only took half of the palette but just so you know the other half of the palette has darker shades of purple, blues and grays)

Description of the palette : A dramatic collection of eye shadows that will add ultimate glamour to your night out.

Dusk til Dawn : A versatile collection of eye shadows that will transform your look from day to night.

Heaven and Earth: A beautiful collection of eye shadows that will enhance your eyes to give the perfect natural look.

These 3 palettes contain enough colors to create any sort of look. I prefer Heaven and Earth for all it's neutral colors that look amazing day and night ! I can't say enough good things about these palettes to be honest !

Go grab your own professional eye shadow palette at your local Superdrug for £4 ! Don't forget to check out  Make-Up Academy's new Professional range :) I'm thinking of getting their primer !

Talk to y'all soon.
